Since July 2019 Illinois gas tax has been the second highest in the nation. Our elected representatives do not want to see the gas tax stop rising until the Illinois gas tax is the highest in the country. I want Illinois to be at the top of many lists but highest gas tax rate is not one of them. Together we can make a difference and keep your money in your pocket and not in the pockets of the politian.
